Auto brand Mazda is really breaking barriers when it comes to producing diesel engines in the United States. Though many auto companies are sending diesels overseas to Europe and other countries, the U.S. has yet to completely accept the trend of diesel engines.  Recently, Mazda announced that it would be building racing versions of its new SkyActiv-D (diesel engines) to teams competing in the popular Grand-Am racing series.
