Double Mazda Hero

The bulk of exciting LA Auto Snow news belonged to Mazda. Among a glittering array of new models from some of the world’s top manufacturers, Mazda drew immense attention thanks to:

  • The Vision Coupe Concept
  • The Upcoming Mazda CX-5
  • The Upcoming Mazda6

New models perfectly reflected the highest Mazda standards, and we can’t wait to see them join our new vehicle lineup.

The Vision Coupe Concept

Dubbed “mouth-wateringly gorgeous” by Car and Driver, the Vision Coupe concept is a luxurious grand tourer that showcases “Mazda Elegance” design language. In classic Mazda fashion, a less-is-more design expresses the scintillating essentials of minimalism – it’s a concept that made people stop and stare.

Sweeping, single-arc shoulder lines, a five-point grille, and rounded lighting elements with string-like LED turn signals define the exterior. Inside, a driver-focused dashboard is accessed from thickly padded seats, while screens remain hidden until you need them.

The Upcoming Mazda CX-5

The Mazda CX-5 just received an extensive revamp, but this isn’t a company known for resting on its laurels. The upcoming model features a 2.5L SKYACTIV®-G for improved efficiency, and all models will come standard with:

  • 17-Inch Wheels
  • LED Headlights
  • 7-Inch Touchscreen Infotainment System
  • Bluetooth

Safety technology takes similar leaps forward. The i-ACTIVSENSE® driver assistance package will make a whole host of features available across the board and standard with upper trim levels.

The Upcoming Mazda6

Mazda’s flagship sedan incorporates all-new engineering concepts and technologies. Perhaps most noteworthy is the powertrain, which includes:

  • Cylinder deactivation for the standard SKYACTIV®-G 2.5-liter gasoline engine
  • An available SKYACTIV®-G 2.5T direct-injection turbocharged gasoline engine with torque comparable to a 4L V8.

High-grade Japanese Sen Wood is available across the interior, and a wider range of advanced i-ACTIVSENSE® safety technologies will make Mazda Radar Cruise Control (MRCC) and a 360° View Monitor available.
